Where: Pogue Creek Canyon State Natural Area, Pickett State Park. Carpool will meet at Simple Life Church at 7:30 am to carpool or to follow us. If meeting us at the trailhead, please meet us at 8:30 am. 

Skill level: 3-5. This trail is well maintained with an amazing rock house and a beautiful canyon view. There will be some boulders to navigate and perhaps use as steps under the rock house to continue on the trail, but this trail is like most hiking trails listed in the skill level ratings for our area.  You can review hiking level details at https://simplelifechurchcrossville.com/ministries/hiking-ministry/.

What to expect: Pogue Creek Canyon Overlook Loop is approximately 1.75 miles. Plan for this hike to take 1.5 hours after 30 min bible study. 2 hours +/- total. Check skill levels for recommended gear and supplies.
